Day 9: We're on a boat!

Today Laura invited us to go boating in Latchi, which is about a 2 hour drive from here. (About an hour past Paphos which is where we went yesterday).  We got so completely lost going there.  We had to stop at some cafe to get free wifi to try and pull up the map and then it had us go through the mountains which was very scary because our little Nissan March did not like trying to go up the mountain, nor did it like trying to brake coming back down the mountain.  After going through some off beaten roads we finally saw the water!  We are learning if you follow the water you will finally get to where you need to go, and it has worked successfully every time! We had lunch at Zoku which was again a very delicious meal.  Roy got souvlaki, RJ and I got pork gyros, and Jen got a greek salad.  YUM!!!

Next, we made our way into the marina to get the boat and meet up with everyone.  Roy was so happy to be able to get on the boat and drive us out onto the Mediterranean.  We ended up driving around an anchoring at the blue lagoon.  It was so pretty and the water was crystal clear!

We then made our way back to Limassol, or Lemosos, as they write it on the signs.  This was again a little stressful drive as we almost ran out of gas and it is a little tougher finding gas stations right off of the highways.  We stopped over at Holly's house for a little BBQ which was again really good food and great company!  Before we knew it, it was midnight.  We can't believe how quickly we lose track of time here, but I guess that is island living. :)
