Day 6: A lazy kind of day

Today Roy and I both got a late start to our day.  It was of course quite warm by the time I went for my run and my legs were weak by the end.  I think this biking of 10-15 miles a day is catching up to me.  So I decided to park myself at yet another new beach across from the zoo, which I plan to get to before I leave.  This beach was quite small but I again found a nice tree to set myself under so I could go back and forth between the sun and shade.  There were some pebbles and some litter on the beach as well, but not terrible.  It had gotten quite windy around 3pm. so I headed back to the house to finish my time next to the pool with a Chino.  A Chino is like a Cyprus version of a frappe from Starbucks, however I think that this was much better! I did finish my first book, All the Bright Places, very enjoyable read and now onto the next!
The new beach I went to.

All the sand kept blowing on me and I had to use rocks to keep my mat down, very resourceful I am! (When I mention pebbles, these are the ones that you have to walk on top of sometimes to get yourself into the water and it is not very pleasant to have to do.)

Roy had another late night at work so we made dinner at home.  It was quite delicious if I have to say so myself.  Also found another wine that we enjoyed, I made sure to take a picture of it this time!

The wine that we enjoyed!

We then met up with Ruth and Cassandra, two girls from back home who decided to move out here for the next 6 months!  We went to Guaba, a beach bar that brings big DJ's into town.  However it was a very nice calm scene on a Thursday night there.  We are learning that the days that they go out are a little different than the days than we go out. (Wednesdays and Sundays are pretty big days here)

I saw this on the walk home, I couldn't help myself because I drink this everyday when I am home!
